Creative Code Denver /

Cozy Pen Plotter Party

Come for the plotting, stay for the company

Saturday, November 9, 2024

1:30pm to 4:00pm

2101 W 29th Ave

Hosted by Creative Code Denver

$0-$10

This is a calm, downtempo event to reset after the art show / demo night that happened earlier this October. We'll make and share prints.

What will happen?

  • We’ll set up a few pen plotters and have plots running while we hang out. (Feel free to bring any prints you’ve made beforehand. I’ll bring my archives)

  • I’ll provide an assortment of pens, markers, paper, etc.

  • Warm beverages: we have a kettle for making tea or hot chocolate, a pourover setup, and an espresso machine in the space

  • We can exchange prints as well!

What to bring? (You don’t need to bring anything)

  • Your laptop and any files you'd like to plot

  • Some of your favorite pens or sheets of paper

  • Any prints you’d like to show or exchange

  • Your favorite mug or anything else that’d make you feel cozy this fall afternoon.

  • Do you have a chill playlist? Bring that too

Afterwards

Everyone’s welcome to hang out after the event, but at 5:00 I need to start setting up for a PowerPoint Party.

Misc

This event is hosted by the Denver Creative Code Meetup.

  • We have a discord!

  • One of our previous events was a Show & Tell—basically this event except people prepared presentations beforehand. Check out the recap here.

  • After every meetup we add things people have mentioned to the group's link archive.

You may cancel your ticket for a full refund up to 24 hours before the event. Click "manage tickets" in your confirmation email. Contact hello@thecompany.social with any questions.
