In the Making is a showcase of original, amateur, creative works in progress.

The origin of the word ‘amateur’ means ‘a lover of:’ a person who creates for love instead of money—someone who creates out of deep care and passion for their craft.

Do you have a passion project you’re creating just for the love of it? Do you paint or knit or print or code or film or design or write or sew or craft or forge? Whatever you’re making, we’d love to see it, hear what it means to you, and learn about you through it.

The show is 8 presentations, 10 minutes per presenter. Presenters can choose how they want to divide their time, between presenting, explaining, or answering questions. Presenters are selected ahead of time, but the show is open to the public.
