On the last Monday of the month, Company member Mary Ann is hosting a book club!

This month’s book will be North Woods by Daniel Mason.

For readers who enjoy richly atmospheric historical fiction that follows the lives, loves, and losses of multiple generations tied to a single New England house and forest, blending human drama with nature’s cycles across centuries. Through its inventive structure, lyrical prose, and deep reflections on memory, place, and connection, the book offers a moving meditation on how the past lingers in both people and the land itself.
