Hosted by
On the last Monday of the month, Company member Mary Ann is hosting a book club!
This Month’s book is Life After Cars: Freeing Ourselves from the Tyranny of the Automobile by Sarah Goodyear + Doug Gordon + Aaron Naparstek
Described as:
A compelling, evidence-based critique of how car-centric culture and infrastructure have reshaped cities, damaged communities, harmed the environment, and exacerbated social inequity—challenging the assumption that automobiles inherently make life better. Readers interested in urban planning, environmental justice, or reimagining more equitable, human-scaled transportation systems will find both eye-opening analysis and practical ideas for how individuals and communities can work toward a future less dependent on cars.
Snacks and drinks will be provided to fuel our conversation.
