Hosted by
Demo days are where people share creative coding projects at any state of progress—or just watch people give demos. They’re relaxed events where people can get to know each other (and their projects).
We’ll gather around a TV and everyone that wants to share a project’ll get a few minutes, after which they can take questions. After everyone’s shared we’ll switch to a more freeform hang.
You don’t need to show anything to attend.
Demos from last time
Norton talked about a 3D SVG library I’ve been using and showed Company time card data visualizations
Livvy shared some of the work going on at Hovercraft and demoed webhooks
David showed some boids and flow fields and talked about his plans put them on spheres
Alex demoed on a scrabble-like game he’s making
Will showed off Crayon Town, a multiplayer infinite canvas
Alec talked about starting to learn web technologies and building his personal website
Mason showed the latest progress on his C++ 3D graphics library for live concert visuals.
What to bring
You don’t need to bring anything, but if you want to show a project (very much encouraged), bring your laptop/sketchbook/etc—and bring your charger just in case.
