Creative Coding Demo Day No. 9

Come for the demos, stay for the company

Saturday, January 18, 2025

1:30pm to 4:30pm

2101 W 29th Ave

Hosted by Creative Code Denver

Free

Demo days are where people share creative coding projects at any state of progress—or just watch people give demos. They’re relaxed events where people can get to know each other (and their projects).

We’ll gather around a TV and everyone that wants to share a project’ll get a few minutes, after which they can take questions. After everyone’s shared we’ll switch to a more freeform hang.

You don’t need to show anything to attend.

Rough timeline

  • Doors open at 1:30

  • Demos start at 2:00

  • Demoers get ~7 minutes, and a couple minutes if they want to take questions.

  • Demos end at 3:15

  • Hang out until 4:30 or until everyone decides to disperse

Who’s demoing so far

I’ll update this list as we get closer to the event

  • Mason, we assume, will show us updates to his 3d graphics engine

  • Norton will show L-system and pen plotter stuff

  • You?

What to bring

You don’t need to bring anything, but if you want to show a project (very much encouraged), bring your laptop/sketchbook/etc—and bring your charger just in case.

Misc

  • We have a discord!

  • One of our previous events was a Show & Tell—basically this event except people prepared presentations beforehand. Check out the recap here.

  • After every meetup we add things people have mentioned to the group’s link archive
