Hosted by Madison Kuebler, Funeral Director, Advance Planning Specialist, and Death Doula
Join us for a night of discussion and decisions about the tougher topics. We will be talking about end-of-life preparedness: everything from organ donation, advanced directives, to final wishes (want a party? Victorian style wake? Or hike to spread your ashes in your favorite hiking spot?).
While most folks don’t like talking about this topic, it is (besides taxes) the only guarantee we have in life! We will die. How prepared we are for it is up to us. Bring all of your weird, macabre, taboo questions you’ve always/never wanted to ask about death, dying, funerals, and everything in between. Discussion topics, medical power of attorney paperwork, simple advance directives, materials for writing down wishes, and a free notary (me) will all be provided. Please bring courage to be uncomfortable, a morbid curiosity, and willingness to learn and prepare for the inevitable.
