Beth Bogdewiecz

Creative entrepreneur exploring connections formed over a cuppa coffee or tea, with a generous laugh, a splash of color, and a willingness to give (or receive) a big, warm hug.

The media

Creative beverage & food recipes, writing, painting, cross-stitching, friendship bracelets, collage, singing

The now

Starting my coffee & tea cart, Cuppa!

The pride

I started an "Adulting" group for getting projects done, formed a Horror Film Club with friends, painted a mural on the wall of my condo, threw a Life Milestone event for myself (that was like a wedding or baby shower, but to celebrate a different life path), and am starting my next entrepreneurial adventure of Cuppa which is HUGE and EXCITING and SCARY and WONDERFUL and I'm so proud of it.

The obsessions

That capitalism is breaking us as a society (and as humans)
That fostering community and a sharing environment will put us back together again
That art matters, and should be paid for and funded as much as other work pursuits
That we wear burnout as a badge of honor (and shouldn't)
That even though times seem dark, it's still a pretty great time to be alive
That social media is both a good tool and a bad habit
That maybe I'm not the only one seeking him - he's also seeking me
That chosen family is just as important as blood family
That upholding patriarchal values hurt both men AND women
That identifying joy in little moments is where eternal happiness is found
That trusting the process is hard, but worth it

The day job

Senior Creative Marketing Manager at a corporate gifting company. And I'm so bored with it. But it pays the bills.

The commute

20 minute bike ride!

The connection

I pitched Cuppa at a Creative Mornings event, and luckily Ivan, Livvy, Norton, and Justin were in attendance!! :)
